From Orange County Corrections:
The fully loaded periderm for FY 13 was $103.46 per day. Consumable/cost avoidance per inmate for one less is $10.25 per day, the difference remains as a fixed cost of operations regardless of population.
Understand that if this amount issued as potential savings, the only saving is the $10.25 per day per juvenile/inmate.
